Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Research Based on Indigenous Resources
The Council will continue to support research programmes that address the sociological and scientific issues of diseases of national concern. Contribution will be made towards the development of a proper legal framework for biomedical research as well as promoting research in the area of traditional medicine. The list of projects below gives a brief description of completed and ongoing projects funded by the Council which fall in this priority research area.
