This study was sponsored by Mauritius Research Council as part of the Council’s Strategic Plan to improve the teaching and learning of Science in both Primary and Secondary Schools.
Recently, the Council through a number of surveys concluded that the decline in interest of Science by pupils is mostly attributed to the lack of practical exercises in Science.
Within this context, the present study focussing on Low-Cost Equipment for Teaching and Learning Science in Primary Schools has been undertaken.
